  Had a 9p reservation and as busy as they were with DC Restaurant Week, we were still able to be seated a little early, however, they were so busy that our waitress spoke then disappeared for about 15-20 minutes. When she did come back, she was very friendly, professional and courteous. My husband had the salmon and I had the filet, everything was delicious. The service was slow, but again they were extra busy. Overall, we enjoyed the ambiance, the quality of food and service.

  We had a dinner reservation for 7:30 on Tuesday, January 9. It followed the burial of my step-grandfather at Arlington National Cemetery. We had a group of about a dozen. Everyone was looking forward to a nice meal and some time together after such an emotional event. Got seated relatively quickly. Ordered drinks, and then entrees. Salads arrived within a reasonable amount of time. Then the experience went downhill. We waited 2 hours for our food. During this time - we received no communication from the waitstaff regarding our meal. The server didn't even stop by to check on us. We had to inquire several times, and were reassured each time our order was almost ready. During the last inquiry - to the manager - we were told the chefs were about to plate our food. We continued to wait. And then we decided to leave. We only had salads (a few of us) and a round of drinks. We received a $250+ bill for “what we consumed.” The manager and waitstaff did nothing to make our experience better, were less than sympathetic, and even rude. It was a disappointing way to end the day and not the kind of experience I expected from this restaurant. On such a memorable day, this experience was unforgettably awful. I’ve never eaten at a Morton’s, and I can’t think of a single reason to ever go back. I reached out to the company about this and was told someone would look into it and call me. That never happened. I reached out again and was told I had to wait 10 business days for someone to reach out. Again - no one did. So I messaged a third time - and still nothing.
